UN Global Compact initiative

Myllykoski is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact initiative, a global network of businesses and other stakeholders from around the world committed to sustainability and responsible business practices. The UN Global Compact, launched in 2000, is rooted in the belief that responsible business practices and cross-sector partnerships are critical to strengthening the global economy and ensuring environmental and social wellbeing.

The signatory companies are committed to embrace, support and enact, within their sphere of influence, a set of core values presented as ten principles, in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment, and anti-corruption.
