Myllykoski’s Performance Development process

 
Each mill and unit has a performance evaluation system in place for management and administrative personnel. These evaluations include specific objectives tied to the strategies and are used to determine any merit increase in salary.

Mill- and unit-specific training and development projects

Mill-specific and personal training is planned and handled at the level of individual mills and units. Each new employee gets training in a safe work environment as well as other individual training as part of the introduction.

Local Management and Leadership Development Programs

In 2007, the mills in Germany started a local management and leadership development program called MMM (Micro – Meso – Macro) for their management teams.At Myllykoski Paper, The Management Handbook and fixed yearly schedule for management were developed and a personal bonus system with personal scorecards was implemented.At the Myllykoski Sales Network, the primary development issue was the training and development devoted to MY One. The Myllykoski Sales Network also designed and implemented profitability tools and calculations training.

MY College

Every two years Myllykoski holds an open enrolment event for employees who are presently in a managerial or specialist position and who are potential candidates for a Senior Management or Senior Specialist position, and who also have the competence and desire to embark on an international assignment.

is for newcomers and young professionals or managers with international connections in their work.


Compliance Training

Myllykoski’s management is committed to complying with the competition rules and as a part of the continuous training on competition compliance matters, Myllykoski organized a training program for all of its key managers in 2007.
